SUMMARY OF TALK

A video of the tribal group of Ashwini in India was shown. These tribal groups live in the jungle and with no formal education or  health services and with no idea of personal property.  But they are literate and speak many languages. They have their own medicine man. There is a new hospital to train nurses for their care built by an organization represented  by Dr. Rathnatican. He ended the presentation by asking our Rotary club for a donation of some $9000 to add a blood bank capability to the hospital. (Sy Yuter, who schedules the speakers, had no idea that he would be asking for a donation from our club.)

Friday: at 11:30 at Tuscan Grille, Mother's Day luncheon
