1913: The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution to the President to wear a white carnation in celebration of Mother's Day.

CELEBRATION Luncheon sponsored by our Club in honor of Mother's Day. 67 mothers and two fathers present.

ROTARIANS PRESENT - 17 Rotarians present. The Rotarians served wine, a delicious lunch, dessert and coffee to the mothers and fathers who were seated. Stephanie, of the Recreation Department, helped in organizing the event.
  
ENTERTAINER: Carmino Ravosa, singer, pianist and composer, best known for his songs relating to American history and especially to Briarcliff Manor.
