TODAY IN HISTORY
1881: The 20th president, Thomas Garfield, died 2 1/2 months after being shot and Chester Arthur  became the next president.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: Community day was had on Sunday September 14 and we made about $500 due to small attendance. All of the tickets for the Rotary UN day are sold.

SPEAKER AND SUBJECT: Bob Pargament on Hypnosis. He is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and head of the Westchester Hypnosis Center.

SUMMARY OF TALK
Bob is a certified hypnotist. Hypnosis is used to help deep relaxation, smoking cessation, weight reduction, fear elimination, motivation and success. sports performance, memory improvement, intimacy enhancement, self confidence, relationship issues, nervous habits, creative blocks, sleep continuity and anger management.  His sessions are not usually covered by insurance but try a referral by a physician. Self hypnosis is possible if one thinks it is possible. There may be flexibility for those with most need. Bob is a former smoker.  He changes lives, one at a time.
