SPEAKER AND SUBJECT: Jeff Pennington on Lincoln's Assassin.
SUMMARY OF TALK
Jeff believes that John Wilkes Booth was part of a conspiracy to kill Lincoln in 1890 and was not shot shortly thereafter but lived under an assumed name for decades afterwards. Booth later told the whole story some 25 years later. Another was shot in his place then the body burned in a tobacco-shed and was unidentifiable.The only photograh of the corpse was never printed and later lost.
