FEBRUARY 28 MEETING IS DATE FOR CLUB MEMBER'S VOTE ON KRIS'S MOTION TO MAKE ROTARY CLUB A 501(C)3 CORPORATION; RACHEL, NO SCHOOL NEXT WEEK BUT THE KIDS ARE KEPT BUSY; KRIS, APRIL 26 FOR ROTARY ASSEMBLY, MARCH 8 FOR ROTARY TRAINING, MAY 9-10 IS ROTARY DISTRICT CONFERENCE;  SCOTT, JUNE 8 ROTARY TRIP TO SCOTLAND; TREASURER'S REPORT FROM DR. BOB MAHER, WE ARE IN GOOD SHAPE FINANCIALLY.

SUMMARY OF TALK

ROTARY IS NOW 109 YEARS OLD. PAUL HARRIS STARTED ROTARY AND HE DIED IN 1947. THE MISSION OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL IS TO END POLIO THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. UNFORTUNATELY A FEW KIDS REMAIN UNVACINATED.  ROTARY HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH EASTER SEALS, ALSO TO END POLIO.  MEMBERS WHO CAN AFFORD IT GIVE A GENEROUS GIFT OF A BOND.  ANY DONATION OF ANY AMOUNT IS WELCOME.  GIVING TIME IS ALSO APPRECIATED.
