                                                                                           SUMMARY OF TALK  
        Unlike Group Study and Foundation Scholars,  children of Rotarians as  well as those of non-Rotarians can be members on a RYEP.
         The expense to the Host club is 10 %  of the total cost of the school year exchange or about $ 2,000.
         By hosting a foreign student Your Club  is able to send  a local High School student, outgoing and adventuresome, overseas to another Rotary Club.
        Your student must be of good character and well mannered,  possessing a warm personality, flexible, adaptable and open to living in a different culture. 
        Your outbound student is between 15 and 18 1/2 years old (Sophomores to Seniors)  at the time of departure August 2014.
