SUMMARY OF TALK
Marion Anderson showed a video of how Heartsong helps under-intellectual students in school, such as autistic and other Asperger-deprived kids and some with Down Syndrome, and also teaches life skills. Heartsong serves about 300 kids. They use music and dancing to get a good and family feeling and make a big difference. Heartsong was started in 1992 with a grant from a Rotary Club so she is a great believer in Service Above Self. Heartsong meets in White Plains and has many volunteer including some with Masters Degrees. She answered many questions from our group.
