BOB MAHER, WE ARE IN GOOD SHAPE FINANCIALLY.

SUMMARY OF TALK
ROTARY CLUB GIVES ST. CHRISTOPHER'S $1500, $1000 FOR ART SHOW AND $500 FOR MARCHING BAND, WHICH WILL MARCH IN NICE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE. THE BAND WILL MARCH WITH US ON MEMORIAL DAY. THE $500 WILL GO FOR BUS AND DRIVER. HIS KIDS ARE NOW WORKING ON ART WORK. ANY SOLD WILL GO TO KIDS OR TO ROTARY. HIS KIDS ARE ALL DROP OUTS FROM REGULAR SCHOOL. SOME THREATENED TO COMMIT SUICIDE. NOW HIS KIDS ARE RELATIVELY HAPPY, ESPECIALLY MARCHING BAND KIDS. HIS BAND MARCHED IN PRELIMINARY SUPER BOWL PARADE. HIS BAND INCLUDES CHEER LEADERS, FLAG CARRIERS AND DRUMMERS.
NEXT FRIDAY: PREPARATION FOR ROTARY BY DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT DAVID DEL MONTE AND DISTRICT GOVERNOR NOMINEE MARILYN MASIORO.
