ANNOUNCEMENTS – 20 Rotarians present. The Installation Dinner is Monday, June 24 at Orfino's at 6:30 pm. This is Flag Day, and flags to be destroyed correctly should be taken to Law Park.

SPECIAL: The two Briarcliff Seniors, Marissa Contento and Niki Metzger, told how they earned the Rotary scholarships of $1500 and $1000 respectively.  Marissa is going to Cornell (she was interviewed by Cornellian Elinor) and Niki to the University of Washington in Missouri.

                                                   Summary of Talk

The VAB, Volunteers Association for Bangladesh, is building a brighter future for Bangladeshi youth. The goal is to transform high schools into quality schools by improving education and reducing dropout rates. VAB also is working across Bangladesh to create educational opportunities through educational empowerment and escape from the vicious trap of poverty. The organization was registered in New York in 1998 and New Jersey in 2000. VAB is a small international charity in Westchester County.
