SUMMARY OF TALK
There are approximately 60 million cats in the U.S. They began their unique relationship with humans in the Middle East's Fertile Crescent. Cats travelled on the ship carrying Christopher Columbus and on the Mayflower. By the end of World War I, cats were accepted as house pets. There are 17 health benefits from owning a cat, including a longer life.
