SUMMARY OF TALK
The White Plains program includes a group therapy session for ages 4 through adult. Teams lead 45 minute group sessions of 4 – 8 children based on age of development. Individualized therapeutic goals and monitored by therapists and families. Heartsong is a not-for-profit which relies on the generosity of families, government grants and corporate grants. Therapy sessions occur in Yonkers and White Plains and include both art and music therapy. Dedicated volunteers often provide 1:1 ratio. Parent workshops and volunteer training is provided.
