Eric: for guest plus daughter Julia, now a sophomore, spent three nights
at Model UN event in NYC, plus Rotary fundraiser (See Maher below).

Rich Z. is happy it is a beautiful day.
Dr. Maher ($20) David passed away (apparently from St. Christopher's) and
re Rotary fundraiser at Capt. Laurence on May 1, cost $50 per person for
all you can eat. The treasury is ok.
Mark J. is happy that the snow is mostly gone.

SUMMARY OF TALKS
Mark J. re: Global Peace Convention in Manila from February 28 to
March 3, attended by many, mostly young people. The first convention was
in 1909. The Phillipines has almost 7,000 islands. Attended by three
ex-presidents. Not a Rotary affair but nonprofit. Included reunification
of North and South Koreas. Sponsors included IBM and EPSON.
